First Aid Training for Real-World Readiness

  • 12 Jan 2026

Emergencies can happen without warning. Having trained individuals who respond quickly to render medical assistance correctly can make a critical difference in preventing injuries from worsening and, in some cases, saving the person’s lives. Our first aid training programmes are designed to provide participants with practical, hands-on skills and clear decision-making abilities, ensuring they are prepared to act with confidence during real-life medical emergencies. Through structured learning and realistic scenarios, participants gain the competence to manage incidents safely and effectively, whether at the workplace, in the community, or during sporting activities.

CERT First Aid

The CERT First Aid course is tailored specifically for Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) members. Participants will be trained to manage soft tissue injuries, burns, fractures, and other life-threatening conditions that may arise during emergency situations.

This course meets the requirements set by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for CERT members, ensuring readiness for company-level emergency response. Upon completion, participants will receive an e-card certificate confirming their competency as a first aider, valid for two years.

Occupational First Aid

The Occupational First Aid course is designed for individuals appointed as first aiders in the workplace. Participants will learn how to manage unconscious casualties, breathing emergencies, soft tissue injuries, burns, fractures, and other life-threatening conditions commonly encountered at work.

Beyond technical skills, the course builds confidence for the first aider to respond calmly and effectively during medical emergencies. It fully meets the requirements set out by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), including mandatory safety topics for workplace first aiders. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an e-card certificate recognised as proof of competency. The certification is valid for two years.

Standard First Aid

The Standard First Aid course prepares participants to provide first aid in a wide range of everyday and sporting scenarios. Training covers the management of unconscious individuals, breathing emergencies, soft tissue injuries, burns, fractures, and other critical conditions.

This course is recognised by the National Registry of Coaches (NROC) and the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council (SRFAC), enabling participants to serve as first aiders for any sport. Graduates gain the confidence to respond effectively wherever emergencies may occur. An e-card certificate will be issued upon completion and is valid for two years.
