Confined Space Emergency Rescue Course

Objective

To equip Emergency Response Team (ERT) with the Basic Rescue Skills to conduct Confined Space Rescue in relation to SCDF CERT and relevant approved code of practice from MOM. Participants will learn the use of the various rescue equipment during the course.

Who Should Attend

CERT members, safety officers and confined space workers.

Prerequisite(s)

• Participants must have Confined Space working experience
• Participants to bring along own PPE for the course

Health Declaration Forms

The participant is required to fill-up a Self-Assessment Checklist and Fitness
Declaration Form (see Form A below). This form must be submitted to COSEM 2 weeks before the course commencement date. Please download the forms below:

• Form A- (Self Assessment Checklist & Fitness Declaration)
• Form-B (Information for doctors certifying fitness for participants)
• Form-C (Certificate of Fitness)

Mode of Assessment

• 25 Multiple Choice Questions
•  Practical Assessment

 Total No. of hours: 16 hours

(1 hour: Assessment, 15 hours: classroom)

Workplace Safety and Health (Confined Space) Regulations 2009.
