Who are We?
COSEM is a democratically-controlled start-up business association formed by experienced personnel of the Singapore Civil Defence Force. We aim to achieve a common economic and social end through the joint ownership of the organisation, as well as make Fire & Life Safety services and products available at affordable prices to the population of Singapore.
The main objectives of the Cooperative of SCDF Employees are:
- Surplus - To generate sufficient surplus to finance future growth and to provide the resources needed to achieve the other objectives of the Cooperative.
- Growth - To grow the business at a rate that is both challenging and manageable, leading the market with innovation and adaptability.
- Social - To provide fire and life safety products and services to the general population and businesses at an affordable cost.
- Welfare - To provide jobs for retired SCDF officers who are also members of the Cooperative.
